Dr. Anh-Dai Nguyen is originally from San Jose, California, where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Genetics from the University of California, Berkeley. She attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the Scripps-Mercy Hospital and Clinics in San Diego, California. After residency, Dr. Nguyen returned to Wisconsin to complete her Allergy/Immunology fellowship at the University of Wisoconsin. She is board certified in both Pediatrics and Adult Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Currently, she resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, two sons and a daughter.
Dr. Nguyen is a member of the Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and a Medical Advisor for the Loudoun Allergy Network.
Dr. Nguyen enjoys working with adult and children of all ages and strives to deliver the best care possible. She believes that excellent cares begins by being attentive to the needs of her patients. Since her own family members suffer from multiple allergic diseases including asthma, eczema, urticaria, food allergies and hayfever, she can empathize with the difficulties her patients and their families undergo. Therefore, Dr. Nguyen strives hard to meet the needs of her patients in order to improve their quality of life.
Dr. Nguyen's special interests include asthma, eczema, food allergies and immunodeficiencies. She considers a privilege and a blessing to work in a profession which she truly enjoys.
